(1) No one shall produce, distribute or exhibit the following films without obtaining a license from the Government of Nepal or an officer appointed by the Government of Nepal:-
(a) plot film, and
(b) Other types of films specified by the Government of Nepal from time to time by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
(2) According to sub-section (1), the format of the application to be allowed to produce, distribute or exhibit the film, the format of the license and the conditions to be followed by the licensee and the fee to be paid shall be as prescribed.
(3) The duration of the license to distribute the film shall be as specified.
